This item is a Manufactured-On-Demand release. MOD (DVD-R) All movies are transferred directly to DVD-R disc on a demand basis from master copies of these releases. Most titles previously had a pressed release but have lapsed out of print and are now only available on these re-released MOD discs. THIS DVD IS MANUFACTURED USING THE HIGHEST QUALITY TRANSFER AVAILABLE = QUALITY EXCELLENT = FULLY GUARANTEED

This has only ever been released on VHS home video as "The Godfather Epic". It took the first 2 films and re-edited them in chronological order. It also added over an hours worth of footage that was never seen theatrically.

The resulting film was in chronological order. The Godfather Part II had cut back and forth between scenes in the early 1900s and contemporary scenes, and was therefore both a prequel and a sequel to The Godfather.

This is a RARE copy derived from the original studio master and is NOT a VHS transfer so the quality is of DVD standard comparable to the blu ray releases of the original films. This is a truly unique opportunity to have this version of "The Godfather" at this level of picture and sound quality.
